Educate Definition
In this case, I would define educating as being able to provide employees with the information they need to do their job well. By providing the necessary information to complete a task at work, you are setting employees up for success. This way, they don’t have to learn everything through trial and error or go out of their way on their time off to find information that is helpful for them to complete their job.
Educate in Leadership
This requires leaders to be able to convey their message in a clear and concise manner and present the content in a way that is memorable. Everyone learns information in different ways, so it is important to find different ways to get the message across to everyone in an effective manner. I have had the opportunity to educate my team multiple times and have found a lot of success delivering information in multiple different ways whether it be video, power point, visuals, or even activities.
Educate Artifact
The assignment I chose for this concept is a power point presentation I put together to display all the information I learned throughout the entirety of one of my classes. The presentation includes a lot of visuals and “to-do” tasks to be completed to keep the attention of the audience. This assignment encouraged me to complete a power point presentation in a completely different way and got me to think outside of the box. It opened my mind to different ways I can present information to people.
